About me

I grew up in Salisbury, NC. My own dentist growing up inspired me to become a dentist! He was really caring and gentle, and I wanted to be just like him. My favorite thing about pediatric dentistry is honestly the things kids say! But I also genuinely enjoy helping children learn to be good dental patients- it's so rewarding to see them become more comfortable and grow more confident. I hope to make every child feel welcomed and comfortable while at the dentist. I also want families to learn the importance of dental health and that developing good habits in childhood is so helpful for the rest of a child's life.

I'm engaged; my fiancé Matt and I met at church while we were both grad students at UNC.

Hobbies and Interests

I love to play sports, complete jigsaw puzzles, play board games, watch Pixar movies, and binge an occasional tv series.

Fun Fact

I am in a curling league (the sport where you throw 40lb stones on ice)! I've been curling for 2 years, and it's such a fun sport.
