Dr. Amanda Kerns is a board-certified pediatric dentist with nearly a decade of experience caring for children’s smiles. Known for her warm demeanor and strong leadership, Dr. Kerns combines advanced clinical skills with a thoughtful, compassionate approach that puts both kids and parents at ease. Dr. Kerns earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UNC Chapel Hill and completed her pediatric residency and Master of Science in Clinical Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. Since then, she’s worked in a variety of practices—from the mountains of Virginia to the islands of Hawaii and here in North Carolina—giving her unique insight into the diverse needs of young patients and families. She specializes in preventive care and restorative treatment for children of all ages. As a parent herself, Dr. Kerns understands the importance of trust, communication, and care that feels personal. She’s committed to helping each child feel safe, confident, and empowered at the dentist—setting the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kerns enjoys spending time with her family, exploring local parks, and staying active in the community. |
