Dr. Sabrina Baghaie Dr. Baghaie attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She went on to pursue an Advanced Education in General Dentistry with NYU Langone Hospitals in Findlay, Ohio, where she obtained extensive pediatric dentistry experience. She then worked at NC Pediatric Dentistry as a general dentist. Having enjoyed her work in the pediatric field, she was selected to pursue rigorous training in pediatric dentistry at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. There she gained valuable knowledge in emergency dental care and special needs dentistry. After this, she was delighted to move back to North Carolina to return to her work with NC Pediatric Dentistry.Dr. Baghaie has always focused on anxiety reduction for all of her patients. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a visit to the dentist by a child’s first birthday or when their first tooth comes in. Dr. Baghaie agrees and adds that the more dental visits a child experiences early in life, the less likely they are to develop lifelong dental anxiety. Dr. Baghaie’s goal for all her patients is fearless visits, and she does this by focusing on each child’s experience in the chair. She tailors her approach depending on each child’s specific needs and their baseline comfort level. She strives to make every visit fun and is known for incorporating balloon animals into her appointments. In her free time, Dr. Baghaie enjoys hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains with Mowgli, her Yorkie, and spending time with her family and friends. She is committed to teaching kids and their families how to care for their teeth for a lifetime, and she can’t wait to meet you! |
