NC Pediatric Dentistry &
A Better Dental Experience!

It is important for you as a parent to choose the right dentist for your child’s dental needs. Just as you look for a pediatrician to take care of your child’s medical needs, you want a dentist and dental staff who focus on meeting the special needs and challenges of children and adolescents. Good oral health is an important part of your overall health and a positive dental experience at a young age will influence your child’s view of dentistry for the rest of their life.

Of course we provide excellent dental treatment in our NC Pediatric Dentistry offices but we go way beyond the basics to make sure your child’s visit to the dentist is safe, relaxed, informative, and fun. It all works together to put our patients at ease so we can provide the best care and education.

» Every aspect of our practice is carefully chosen to provide a great experience for our young patients AND their parents.

» Our bright, cheerful offices are designed to be super kid-friendly and are equipped with movies, iPads, video games and custom artwork and murals.

» We have child-sized dental chairs and instruments.

» Our Open Door Policy where parents are welcome to join in on the fun with the children.

» We even offer an Icee treat for your child after each appointment to help with swelling and make the experience more pleasant

» Our experienced, specially-trained doctors love working with children.

» We offer “no BISGA, BPA, UDMA, HEMA or TDGMA” products upon request. Products used are Futurabond and Admira Fusion made by VOCO.

NC Pediatric Dentistry offices are led by Dr. David Thome who specializes in pediatric dentistry. Pediatric dentists are highly-trained dental specialists who work with infants, children and adolescents. After graduating from dental school, pediatric dentists continue their advanced education and training for an additional two to three years.

This specialty education includes child psychology, behavior guidance, methods to reduce anxiety and build trust, preventive techniques, restorative dentistry, and the treatment of handicapped or chronically ill children. Pediatric dentists also go through yearly training and re-certification to stay up-to-date with the most recent improvements in technology and patient care.

All of our dentists and staff focus on providing quality dental care and education tailored to fit our patients. We educate patients and parents on the importance of preventive care, hygiene and treatments in an open and easy-to-understand manner.
